Christ Bhakta Movement has its origin in the prayer life of Matri Dham Ashram. It is a clear sign of the presence of the Holy Spirit calling people to be listeners of the Word. The power that keeps the movement growing is the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit are shared in prayer with fast, in perpetual adoration and the proclamation of the Word. Our General Chapter 1995 and 2001 has clearly stated that the formation of human communities imbued with the values of the Kingdom of God leading to the formation of Christ-centered communities is the goal of evangelization. The Khrist Bhakta movement is an expression of such a realization. The Khrist Bhakta movement is capable of revitalizing not only all our mission centers but also our own personal, religious and community lives at a deeper level. It is a new way of being the Church in a multi religious context. The Faith of the Christ Bhaktas has made the Matri Dham Ashram an anointed place of God’s healing and reconciliation.
