Developmental works form an important element in all our centers. Delhi Province has Pragati Social Service Society and Varanasi Province has Jan Vikas Samiti to coordinate and nurture various types of developmental works so that our people have a better life.
Almost all the mission stations/centers have animation programme aimed at building human communities. These programmes are financed by various Agencies. Here attempts are made at non-formal education, empowerment of the poor, especially women, formation of Self Help Groups (SHG) and programmes aimed at income generation and self-employment. Hundreds of villages are contacted and thousands of self-help groups are formed. Hundred of animators help our men in organizing these SHGs. Capacity building and training programmes are conducted for the animators and leaders of the S.H. Groups.
